Plants and Company Codes:
Each plant has a unique number and a given plant can be assigned to only one company code. A company code can have many plants but a plant can be assigned to only one company code. One company code can have many plants.
Plants and Work Centers:
A work center can be assigned only to a single plant. One plant can have many work centers.
Plants and Shipping Points:
Several shipping points can be available for a single plant; conversely each shipping point can process shipping for several plants.
Plants and Storage locations:
A plant can be divided into several storage locations to contain physical stock. But one storage location can be assigned to only one plant.
Plants and Sales Organizations:
Each sales organization can be assigned to several plants. Similarly, a plant can have access to several sales organization.
Company Code and Sales Organization:
One company code can have many sales organizations. But one sales org can be assigned to only one company code.
Plants and Purchasing Organizations:
Each purchasing organization can have one or more plants assigned to it. Similarly, a plant can be assigned to several purchasing organizations.
