Plants and Company Codes:<\/span><\/p>\n Each plant has a unique number and a given plant can be assigned to only one company code. A company code can have many plants but a plant can be assigned to only one company code. One company code can have many plants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Plants and Work Centers:<\/span><\/p>\n A work center can be assigned only to a single plant. One plant can have many work centers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Plants and Shipping Points:<\/span><\/p>\n Several shipping points can be available for a single plant; conversely each shipping point can process shipping for several plants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Plants and Storage locations:<\/span><\/p>\n A plant can be divided into several storage locations to contain physical stock. But one storage location can be assigned to only one plant.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Plants and Sales Organizations:<\/span><\/p>\n Each sales organization can be assigned to several plants. Similarly, a plant can have access to several sales organization.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Company Code and Sales Organization:<\/span><\/p>\n One company code can have many sales organizations. But one sales org can be assigned to only one company code.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Plants and Purchasing Organizations:<\/span><\/p>\n Each purchasing organization can have one or more plants assigned to it.
